Indigenous Communications Network
The Indigenous Communications Network aims to establish a multi-faceted, global communications system to connect indigenous communities, promote cultural exchange, and facilitate emergency support. Key components of the project include a public-facing website for outreach and a private, secure online forum for communication between members. It also involves the use of postal correspondence and cargo shipments to ensure tangible communication in remote areas, as well as the setup of an AM shortwave radio station to broadcast globally. The initiative will culminate in regular in-person meetings and conferences to strengthen collaboration among communities.
GAIATREE Traditional Knowledge Digital Library
Humanity is facing the threat of losing invaluable traditional Indigenous knowledge, which has been preserved for generations. As the planet suffers from unsustainable exploitation, Indigenous peoples hold the wisdom to restore harmony between humanity and the Earth’s ecosystems. However, this knowledge is increasingly at risk. The GAIATREE Traditional Knowledge Digital Library aims to safeguard and share this knowledge by creating a secure, holographic multimedia archive controlled by Indigenous communities themselves. Elders from each community will manage and decide what knowledge is shared, ensuring the preservation of their intellectual property. This initiative will serve as a global repository for traditional wisdom and foster collaboration across fields to support the sustainable future of the planet.
